Dr. Melinda Fitting
Dr. Fitting is co-founder and President of Comprehensive Geriatric Services and is a licensed psychologist. She earned her doctorate from the University of Denver and completed a postgraduate fellowship in psychogeriatrics at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Psychiatry. She has been a member of the Department of Psychiatry faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the School of Hygiene and Public Health since 1985. Dr. Fitting has a Master's degree in physical therapy from Stanford University and spent six years as a physical therapist working with the elderly prior to becoming a geriatric psychologist. Dr. William Mansbach
Dr. Mansbach is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Comprehensive Geriatric Services. He obtained his doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Maryland. Dr. Mansbach is a licensed psychologist with extensive experience in the design and delivery of continuum-based mental health services, including: in-patient, partial hospitalization, respite care, long-term care and outpatient services. Dr. Mansbach has a national reputation as a clinician and consultant in the aging field. He has published and presented numerous articles and workshops on geriatric mental health and time-limited psychotherapy. Dr. Mansbach also trained at NIH and the Washington School of Psychiatry. Dr. David J. Kaufman Jr.
David J. Kaufman Jr. MD is the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Geriatric Center. Previously, he served as Medical Director at the Union Memorial Hospital Crisis Intervention Center and as Medical Director of the Union Memorial Hospital Psychiatry In-patient Service. He received his Psychiatric Residency training at the Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychology and Neurology and a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry, the American Geriatric Society and the American Psychiatric Society.
